Summary: It was an opportunity to get some long-overdue sleep. I went to bed at 9:00 pm after a lovely meal at the Sushi restaurant adjacent to the hotel. I had to use ear-plugs to drown out the traffic noise which made for a lovely long sleep (I didn't wake up until 10:00 am this morning.) The bed was comfortable; the room was quite warm (I couldn't find out how to cool it down, but that was OK, I slept most of the night on top of the covers.)

Summary: started with inactive 'keys', so i had to take all my luggage/supper/accoutrements back to the car, go back to the front desk and get them 'activated' the room was in the 400 block, so this may not apply to the other sections of the inn, but the room was like stepping back into the early '80's motel in a two horse town but the price did not reflect this 'historic' offering the mattress was conveniently covered in a no-leak plastic cover (perfect for all your foul deeds, not so great for general sleeping) there was also a 30 degree dip from the shoulders to the pillow in the mattress, coupled with the 'squish-squish' of the plastic mattress pad meant sleep would be hard to come by (maybe this room is not meant for sleeping though!!!!) i showered in the morning and still felt dirty maybe they are waiting to update this section and the rest of the inn is pretty ding-dang good after exiting my dark/dank hovel i looked longingly at the place with decks and deck chairs, and people looking happy and content with their life choices so i would slink back into my 'historic' room and let the thoughts of what may have occurred in my room....

Summary: Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Room however was disappointing with dirty valance on 1 of the beds which was also very squeaky with minor movement. Property needs maintenance to bring up to 3 stars. Overpriced for what was provided. Really hope they can bring property up to a better standard for future guests.

Summary: We liked it so much we decided to stay here an extra 4 days. The staff were super accommodating and went out of their way to work out the details for us. The room was clean, modern and quiet. We had a nice patio to sit on and have a coffee in the morning sun. Road construction was a bit of a deal around the place, but the hotel is definitely worth seeking out through the road work. Truly appreciate all the help the staff provided. Makes us very happy!

Summary: The Lovely young woman from Comox, was on the ball the hole time. The maintenance gentleman. He took my keys back to the office and got them calibrated for my door . Both of these people loved there jobs. That says a lot.
